Richard Byworth is a banking and investment veteran whose career led him to London, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. For over a decade, he was the Managing Director for Japanese broker Nomura. Later he was CEO for Eqonex Group, a digital asset ecosystem which he developed, built and successfully took public onto Nasdaq. In late 2022 he joined Syz Capital as Managing Partner and Head of Liquid Alternatives. Syz Capital is an independent, alternative asset manager based in Switzerland.

Richard is a banker turned Bitcoiner, who strongly believes that it will revolutionize the financial system from the ground up. In his conversation with Relai CEO Julian Liniger, Richard shares some insights in how he believes a Bitcoin driven future will look like.
