Your seed words come from a standardized list of 2048 words. You can view the standardized word list at the link below.
By correlating your individual words with their number from the list you can easily record each of them with a string of 4 numbers or less.
This is the method we prefer to record seed words. You may also hand engrave the actual words of you choose. We have a video showing that process as well at the link below.
