ZChat is a minimum-viable Nostr (Notes and Other Stuff Transmitted by Relays) client implementation
Zchat is meant to be a lightweight public/private key based data relay system allowing for the creation of an encrypted chat network “using Bitcoin” rather than running “On Bitcoin”. The application is based on the Nostr specification which is an “open protocol that is able to create a censorship-resistant global ‘social' network once and for all” created by @fiatjaf.
