I choose Umbrel for its status as easiest to use for beginners, but there are many software options to run your node. There are also out-of-the-box nodes, through multiple companies, but I wanted to show everyone how easy it is to DIY...and do it all under $250. I tackle a couple troubleshooting problems that seemed pretty common when I was scouring the community pages. In particular, router or wi-fi connection issues AND what to do if your node freezes while downloading the entire Bitcoin ledger.
