On Wednesday, April 24th SamouraiWallet and Tdev were arrested by authorities for "running" a "Money Transmitter Business" and conspiracy to commit "money laundering". These are bullshit charges and a great example of manipulating the "rules of the game" to catch any fish in your net.
Samourai Wallet is not a "MTB". They never custody users funds.
Samourai Wallet did not conspire to commit "money laundering". Users of Samourai Wallet may commit what the state deems "money laundering", but Samourai Wallet does not distinguish those users from others.
If you are a Samourai Wallet user and you were connected to their node, then make sure you take slow calculated steps to regain access to your funds. Do not get baited by scammers in Telegram Chats. Pay attention to pinned comments in the telegram chat, that will help you.
For everyone who want withdraw (not just restore) funds to another wallet, or, for example, you don't remember your passphrase:
1) Close wallet
2) Turn off internet
3) Start wallet
4) Wait for balance computation
5) Create transaction, tap on send
6) Transaction will be signed and you get a QR of signed tx (or if it big, you can copy hex of raw tx to clipboard by tap on copy icon in right up corner)
7) Now you can simply past raw tx to any broadcast interface, for example https://mempool.space/tx/push, sparrow wallet etc.
