AJ Scalia and Drew Armstrong are, respectively, the CEO and President of Cathedra Bitcoin, a publicly-listed (Canada) bitcoin mining company.
I met Aj and Drew at the beefsteak prior to the Bitcoin 2021 conference in Miami. We were having an interesting conversation around bitcoin mining and what it’s growing significance meant for the energy industry, and how we understand and interact with energy generally as a species / civilization.
I mentioned at the time that it would be great to record something, and so about 9 months later, we finally put it together.
