Our friend, Dean-O, recently penned a piece on his site The Rogue File called “Why I’m No Longer a Capitalist (It’s Not What You Think)” where he has decided to transition away from being a strict capitalist in favor supporting a free market that allows for what he refers to companies that use some “socialist ideals.” No, don’t worry, he still favors private property and anarchism, but we decided to bring him on to flesh these ideas out. Is what Dean-O favorably experienced in his own life a product of some socialism or is it still a product of capitalism?
